Mike left Idaho and moved
to Las Vegas where he became a Hooker in 2005. He
was elected by his peers as an alternate captain
for the team at the start of the 2006 season. Thanks
to his all-around skill, great attitude, and selfless
play, Mike earned the team's Most Valuable Player
award in 2005-06 and 2006-07.
Mike led the team in scoring in 2006-07 with 61 goals and 67 assists for 128 points.
He scored 50 goals in just 35 games along the way. In 2006-07, Mike scored 47 goals and 57 assists for 104 points to become the first Hooker to have back-to-back 100 point seasons.
