Ryan Hoffman joined the Hookers for the 2007-08 season. Although his natural position is forward, Hoffman is sometimes called on to fill in on defense.
Hoffman learned to cut the ice playing high school hockey for the Whiteboro Warriors in New York. After graduation he went on to The University of Buffalo to study engineering. Hoffman played hockey for the University of Buffalo in the ACHA Division 1.
When not playing hockdy, Hoffman spends his time as a project engineer for a construction company.
